This Tamron 200mm f3.5 Auto lens is a telephoto lens that is part of Tamron's early Adapt-A-Matic system. It features a removable lens mount that can be adapted to a variety of camera systems. The Adapt-A-Matic was the precursor of the more popular Tamron Adaptall system and allows essentially the same flexibility in transferring a favored lens from one camera system to another.
This lens comes with a Minolta SR mount adapter. It can easily be used on Minolta manual focus 35mm SLR cameras that use any variant of the Minolta SR lens mount, such as MC and MD mount cameras. It will lack full metering capabilities on MD-mount Minolta cameras.
